Community Update - Jan 2022
Hello!
JC First has put into motion our next project, Supporting Single Parents in the community. During the month of January, we are asking for community members to nominate deserving single parents to receive a $100 voucher that can be used at one of the five following local businesses to help with car repairs, service or to pay on an existing bill they may already have. The five businesses partnering with JC First for this project are: Anderson & Son’s, Birch’s Auto, McClane Motors, Pennington Ford, and Rusty’s Repair.
We are really excited at the response we received from the local businesses willing to jump on board and get involved. We hope that you will want to get involved as well. We currently are ready to give away 50 - $100 vouchers but we would like to give away 100 - $100 vouchers. JC First would like to help as many single parents as possible. With your financial support and prayers, we can make this happen!
Included with this letter is a nomination form, if you would like to make copies and share with others to nominate someone, they know who is deserving and could use a little help. All you need to do is fill out the nomination form and mail in or go on our Facebook page and fill out the form online. All information must be filled in, if information is missing, the form will be discarded. In February we will then contact those nominated to stop by and pick up their $100 voucher or we will mail them. Only one voucher will be given per household. These will be given out on a first come first serve basis. Additional details and deadlines are included on the form.
If you would like to make a donation to the JC First project, please make checks out to SACC and in the memo put JC First Fund. Checks can be mailed to SACC, 404 S Scott St., Newton, IL 62448.
We thank you for your time and consideration.
Blessings,
JC First Leadership Team
